Located next to Whetstone Elementary School in Montgomery Village, Centerway Local Park features a playground, a baseball field, a picnic area, and an open shelter. M-NCPPC acquired the park in 1986 and was last updated in 2024.

Rent a Picnic Shelter at Centerway Road Local Park
Picnic shelter reservations are first-come, first-served and are available to rent from April 1 to October 31.

Or you can call the Montgomery Parks Permit Office at 301-495-2525 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
